Read for the Environment
Presentations are given to 1st-3rd grade classrooms within Carbondale’s school districts. Volunteers read an environmental children’s story, engage students in discussion, and distribute take-home materials for children (coloring books, pencils, crayons, etc). Read for the Environment takes places in March, during the school day. Anyone interested in volunteering, please contact Keep Carbondale Beautiful.
